  • Recycle your old flip flops

Give your old flip flops a new life!

You know the feeling. There's a must-have pair of Havaianas you've got your heart set on, but no room in your wardrobe; and you can't bring yourself to throw out an old pair. Help us to give them a new life!

What to do? Simple, bring us your used Havaianas or any other old flip flops in any condition and we will recycle them.

Just come to the drop-off points in our retail stores. We'll then turn them into something new with the help of our partner Rubberlink, leading recyclers of rubber waste.

Rubberlink will convert your used Havaianas to new raw material, for use in a range of different products, everything from footwear soles to fitness or yoga mats. These are the first exciting steps of our recycle programme. Help us give the planet some love by taking care of today for a brighter tomorrow.

Looking after the land with IPE

    (Istituto Pesquisas Ecologicas)

The partnership between IPÊ and Havaianas is a long-standing one, for over 16 years we have been supporting their great work in the Amazon Rainforest. 7% of sale revenue of the IPE models goes directly to the Institute, specifically for the conservation of Brazilian biodiversity. Thanks to this partnership, over 3.2 million trees have been planted so far in the Atlantic Rainforest. And we want more, don’t you?

  • Looking after the seas with CI

    (Conservation International)

Marine life preservation is something we jumped into with a splash! For the past 10 years, 7% of sales revenue from this range has gone to Conservation International, an NGO that works to preserve marine life, especially in the Abrolhos region, which has the greatest biodiversity in the whole South Atlantic. So our friends under the water also benefit from you wearing your Havaianas!

    Soul Collection

Did you know that over 60% of the Havaianas Soul Collection line is made out of recycled, sustainable materials, like undyed organic cotton? It’s true! The naturally colorful fiber is harvested with help from local cooperatives in Rio Grande do Sul. All to reduce waste and energy consumption.

We make Havaianas out of Havaianas!

Did you know that 60% of the soles on Havaianas You sandals are made out of recycled material? That’s right. The excess materials from our regular flip flop production line are used to make our latest collections.
